While the Open A teams were battling at the Super 12 tournament in Pretoria, the boys and girls u11 A and B, Open B and C hockey teams kept Tzaneen Primary School’s name high at the Triegie tournament that took place at Louis Trichardt Primary on Saturday, July 13.
In addition to Tzaneen Primary and Louis Trichardt Primary School, four other schools participated, Messina Primary School, Ridgeway Primary, PEPPS, and PEMPS.
The results were as follow:
u11 A Girls – wins LS Louis Trichardt 4/0, wins LS Ridgeway 2/0, wins PEPPS 3/0.
u11 B-Girls – wins LS Messina 2/0 and drew 0/0 against LS Louis Trichardt.
u11 A Boys – lost 0/1 against LS Louis Trichardt, winning 1/0 against LS Messina, winning 2/1 against PEMPS.
u11 B-Boys – win against LS Ridgeway 2/0, drew against PEMPS 0/0, drew 2/2 against LS Louis Trichardt.
Open B-Girls – lost 1/0 against LS Louis Trichardt’s Open A team, drew to PEPPS’s A team 0/0, winning LS Ridgeway’s A team 1/0, winning PEMPS’s A team 1/0.
The Open B-Boys – drew against PEMPS’s A team 0/0, lost to LS Louis Trichardt’s A team 0/2, drew against PEPPS’s A team 0/0.
Open C Girls – drew 1/1 against LS Louis Trichardt’s B team, win LS Messina’s B team 1/0, win PEPPS’s B team 1/0, win LS Ridgeway’s B team 1/0.
The Open C Boys – Drew against LS Ridgeway’s B team 0/0, drew to PEMPS’s B team 0/0, drew to LS Louis Trichardt’s B team 0/0 and winning LS Messina’s B team 1/0.
